An exercise in abject self-cancellation.

£500.00

Two figures find themselves in a black room. To judge by their clothing they are either politicians or businessmen. It's hard to tell if they are concerned at all by the piled cheeseburgers atop their heads, pinned down by a wooden crucifix each, for they are already dead. But still they move, act, desire. Is there any point to their movements other than to distract them from said possible absence? Is there a space more prone to madness than that where politics, money and religion meet?

Oil, oil pastel and ink on canvas board, 40x30cm.

Framed in 19mm black ayous with a stain finish.
